He might have made a name for himself promoting bass nights, but his solo releases on the label he shares with Cardopusher show him as a much more versatile artist, both in terms of influence and ability. His first two releases have a vintage rave vibe, heavy on Acid sounds, but it’s an unreleased footwork nugget from 7 months ago that really got me hooked. He’s a welcoming contemporary act to the UK producers, making bangers with brains.
