Talking about how terrible the last Batman film was, is kind of unnecessary by this point. The last half decent thing I saw at the cinema (apart from Moonrise Kingdom) was actually Prometheus.
It might be lacking in continuity, but Ridley Scott’s ability to cover absolutely every detail from a production point of view is astounding. It’s getting harder and harder for me to suspend my disbelief at the cinema (and that should be multiplied in this case) but just the way the low/hi tech interface of the first two films was repeated here made it watchable. Franchises with personality – recommended.
