I EAT YOU

Berlin, which could carry the curry sausage in its coat of arms instead of the bear, is not really known for it’s culinary sophistication. That said, one of the city’s specialities is, if anything, the creative reinvention of classic entertainment.

With this in mind, Berlin-based Flore Schmidt has decided to add a new recipe to Berlin’s party landscape: food+music+party=great fun. Schmidt’s on-again/off-again I EAT YOU invites young [not] Berliners to not only eat together but also to celebrate together too.On the menu there is a lot of convincingly fresh stuff like live pasta and “warm and hearty soup to go”, accompanied by music that sounds like a thousand broken pasta plates – Feathered Sun (live) feat. NU, JO.KE & special guests. The 3 hour pasta session will be arranged by ‘Jonas the Singing Cook’ and a watercolour dream kitchen (whatever that might be) will cater for cake and sweets.

Hip and high-class for a rather small price (2€), the idea for the party is rooted in the good old corporate feeling Jesus and his pals were so fond of, in short: a nice comfy night out with good friends. Also, autumn is coming and we all need an extra bit of love to keep warm.

Up to date information on the event is being provided via tumblr and Facebook. It can be seen as a style statement that Vimeo is the platform of choice to market the event.
