The industrial designer Juanita Jaramillo is the brain of Modessto shoe lab. She went to a shoe development school in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, in order to grasp all of the insights, and become a real shoe connaisseur.
Although inspired and influenced by the fashion trends, there isn’t a glimpse of a copycat in her collection, and I truly respect that. “Music is also an inspiration, food, and all of the things I like and the ones I hate as well. The very thought of kitsch is what makes it all happen” Juanita says.
I just named these the happiest shoes ever. I see a pair and immediately think that somebody very happy should wear them. Either that or just looking at them makes me very happy. The prices are very modest as well.

Aunque inspirado e influenciado por las tendencias de la moda, no se puuede ver ninguna copia en su colección , y yo realmente admiro eso. “La música es también una fuente de inspiración, la comida, y todas las cosas que me gustan y las que odio. La sola idea de lo kitsch es lo que hace que todo esto suceda“, señala Juanita.
Acabo de llamar a estos los zapatos más felices. Veo un par de estos zapatos y enseguida pienso que alguien muy feliz deberian usarlos. Eso, o simplemente mirarlos me hace feliz. Los precios son muy modestos también.
