When you live in a town that is basically all bars and restaurants, you keep yourself well appraised of all new openings around town – especially ones in your neighborhood. The Old Gold is the newest outpost in N Portland, which just so happens to be a hop-skip and a jump away from my house (and that’s good news as the PPD told me I wasn’t allowed to go to bars and drive home anymore).
