Name: Ben G.
City: Atlanta, GA

Ben was born and raised in Atlanta.  He went to the University of Georgia in Athens, where he studied English Literature, and then returned to Atlanta.  Ben describes his social world as “mainly artists, music people, bike kids, and a few punks.”

Ben operates in two documentary worlds, both as a photographer and as a writer/editor.  His photography tends to showcase everyday life in Atlanta, which he exhibits at local galleries.  On the cultural front, he writes music and art reviews for a variety of publications and websites – including an art review site he started called burnaway.org.  Additionally, he is the official music writer for several arts organizations and festivals including the Atlanta Subterranean Arts and Music Festival.
