Born in Sweden, Patrick moved to China in 2006 to study Mandarin and immerse himself into the country’s fascinating culture. While taking up a bachelor degree in Business Administration at The University of Hong Kong, he started several initiatives to develop and engage his fellow students in personal development and social entrepreneurship.
Patrick has been at the forefront of the social entrepreneurship movement in Hong Kong and he has been involved with the creation and development of 5 socially-concerned organizations. He has created the Young Drucker Undergraduate development program, which is implemented by two universities in Hong Kong. He has also co-founded the Inter Cultural Education Centre, initiated the Do Good Pin project and helped develop the Light for Children sexual abuse prevention program.
He has been awarded several times for his work, including winning the Social Entrepreneurship Challenge 2009, and has been featured in magazines such as South China Morning Post.
When he’s not working, Patrick loves to travel and sit under a tree, thinking of ways how to make this world a better place.
