Here comes the major breakthrough in paper versusĀ e-readers battleship.
Most of Moscow schools will be equipped with British-produced touchscreen e-readers which would allow schools to save millions of dollars they spend every year on traditional textbooks. The major difference between pupils’ e-readers and major tablets is that e-reader would be deliberately cut off the web concentrating solely on its standard set of textbooks and extracurricular reading packed in one device. The reader will be extremely light, durable and cheap. I wish I had the same fifteen years ago when I had to queue for hours to get those bloody folios in a smelly library and then bring them every day for the classes.
