The Eternal Quest For Redemption That Is Lance Fiero

Never let it be said that Vancouver film makers don’t have a sense of humour.

STEEL VIPER FORCE: Fiero’s Redemption is a indie action film tracing the arc of Lance Fiero, a boozed up former member of Vancouver’s last great special ops team: the Steel Viper Force.

If you actually liked Chuck Norris, you’ll love Lance Fiero and his rampage though the streets of Vancouver in search of justice and sobriety. It’s everything that Stallone’s cop movies could’ve been, wrapped up in Gortex and smelling of cheap Thunderbird.

It’s also pant wettingly funny. Steel Viper force’s cast and production crew is made of of some of the best and funniest in the city. Who needs hand guns when these guys have humour?

Well, I guess they do need guns, because you see, Lance’s mission isn’t over yet and they’re still crow sourcing funding to finish the film. The best part though, is that the perks for donating to Steel Viper Force are better than most things out there? Want your face tattooed on the neck of one of the villains in the film? They’ll do it. A haiku from Lance Fiero? They can do that too. In a day and age when crowd sourced perks entail nothing more than a signed DVD, Lance Fiero is putting Vancouver ahead of the pack.
