To most people Miranda Makaroff is like the Spanish Corey Kennedy: a pretty socialite from a privileged background who lives a life of cocktails and fashion shows. That’s actually fairly accurate if it wasn’t for the fact that she’s pretty much the first ‘it girl’ that Spain has ever had.
For decades the only similar kind of personality has been minor royals or reality TV contestants. Miranda is of a totally different breed: independent, indie and creative, she’s making an alternative career as an illustrator and fashion designer. All on the back of the other alternative career she created originally – that of being herself. It’s worthy of respect.
